Another day at Work!

Today this Dood in the back almost lost the shop buy not paying attention. But I think he was rather quit drunk or stoned, I walk to the back where the glass is being made and it's all stuck together trying to force it's way down the line conveyor to the cooling tanks, and "The Dood" is there sitting in the chair facing the other way stareing out the window at the sky! maybe he was working on his tan for all I know, so I called down the Strong arm from up stair's. I have never seen anyone go from drunk to sober in .5 sec's. later today I walk over to my favorite water machine (coldest water in the plant and hot scolding) and there is a flippin string of army ants heading there way up the machine, make a not of this! "If you don't have bug spray what do you use"? Hot Scolding water! Wow! how cool, DEAD INSTANTLY!

Wade at Work!

Hummm how should I start off........ I work with a bunch of weirdo's. But that doesn't have anything to do with the story I'm going to tell. this week at work was real fun! "if you like Chaos" First off I drag my butt to my desk than begin with the usual routine........ stare at my computer and try to think how I am going to fix this mess, I start by pounding the ESC button so that the 30 yr computer system can Refresh, not happening! So I wonder around my desk looking for the coffee cup I misplaced, Not found! Damn! ok the alarm goes off above me, you know the real big red one that only works if the plant is in melt down. here's where the story get's sort of exciting! I go back to the Hot End " where the hot glass is flying everywhere" I notice that the glass is in a none stop pure mode!" Real Cool" and it is raining " yes raining indoors" and I am soaking wet. Glass is going everywhere sticking to everything and some other workers, " not cool" "well unless ...." ok back to story, I am just shocked that this is really happening, and suddenly some glass shoots off in the air and tag's me in the arm! that sucks and I was thinking " What The Flying Fornication!" and my shirt is sort of unfire and I goto the hospital for 3 degree burns and part of my hair dew is burned to S#!T!. Now I am back at work doing light duty and can't climb for weeks. So I am here just slamming away at the Computer! The Whole story is true and I was Joking about the hot glass burning me... He He

SD vs HDV

Here is the answer that boils in some Amature Videographers Hearts, Is SD (standard Def) better than HDV (high def video) YES it is, but where things sort of get confuseing is that people think HDV is High Def? Nope your wrong and doesn't give anyone right to go about saying it is, realistically if you had a real HDV cam you pay around 300,000 Buck's for it and about another 100,000 bucks jsut to get it from the cam to a copy of it on HD DVD. Small break down here! HDV is recorded in high def and then compressed back down to SD and then recorded to the mini DV tape, so your still getting the same compression and quality as SD. In-conclusion You can only get better video from a HDV if you know how to use the camera, and AUTO Mode only works 30% of the time, If you can master a HDV cam and the lighting situations around you then YES HDV is better quality than SD. I have seen excellent quality SD surpass HDV. The guy that knows how to use a SD cam is going to get much better video quality than the guy that doesn't know how to use a HDV cam. Lastly don't say your videos are HDV when there not!

How To Make EXspresso!

OK this is the easy part, make coffee how you normally would, but here's the tricky part! instead of adding 2 to 4 scoops Add exactly 47 scoops of coffee, this will produce the equivalent of 15 shoots of Espresso!

Takin It For The Grade!

Why is this so? Why do people just hear that a route or boulder problem is v13 and go and put it on there 8a.nu scorecard as v13, but the boulder problem has got a concensus grade of easy v12? I have come to wonder this over the past yr. Maybe Fame? respect? there mesureing something? they think there the Some Sort of Piece of Work? well whatever it may happen to be, doesn't mean it's right. Unless your like under 5.0 ft and with a 0 ape index. then somethings tend to be much harder than for taller people, but I think it earns much respect to just give it the consesus at this point, been's we short people get shit alot. However unless you can hike your feet to your face and core your way to the long reach and the taller people have to use the lower feet, then rub it in there face. Ok now I am just babbleing on again!

Lastly if the boulder problem feel's V9 and it's harder than that, then give it V9!

Bold & Power / Reach & Technic

Bold Yes lets get started with that! For example Lisa Rands sending So High! Well I need not explain more. Power being able to explode from one move to the next. Reach! L El Jorge V11 , RMNP see this is one of thoughs boulders that short guys like me fail, because of reach. But there are other alternatives to this boulder! short people can just go to the first move and cross over and do it the original V12 way. Technic! I think can pretty much over power Reach and Power, If you got technic you don't need to power your way through long moves or jump to the holds. Well damn I don't like where this story is going so I am going to tell everyone about me fractureing my finger yesterday! So I am meeting up with Sander, teiry, lee & kev dog, I get ot of my truck and Slam the door! Well not everyone is perfict? and I feel a very sharp pain followed by something wet dropping on my foot, I look down at my hand and my middle finger on my right hand is covered in blood and sort of bent up wards, I sort of clean it off in pain and realize that It is split open on the top just above the nail. Wow what a S#!ty day, and now I can't for atleast 3 weeks. Aaaaaaaaaarrrrrrrgggggh!

Why do people like this website so much, is it because it lifts there self esteem, or to see how high oneself can get on the ranking. I pesonally use the site to check out how my bro's are doing when I am not there climbing, or use the site for helping out the general concensus for route grades. I do find that people lie about sending some of the routes posted, and this mite be because to gain higher status with the climbing community or to please there sponsor's. What ever the reason mite be! please do not Lie about what you have done! or Take the highest grade even if the route got down rated. Because someone will find out! and I will be Pointing my Mutha F%$ing Finger.

So today I was driving up to this new area I found 2 yr's ago called Swissco, and I was just driving along, Driving along BAM! there goes my window! all smashed and broke, my truck is whaling sideways cars and trucks nailing me from all ends and I end up in a ditch upside down with my arm broke! this lady is crying and throwing shit at me from her car and spilting! the cops came and I went to hospital got the cast and just got home now. What a F-ing day! No I am kidding but it sounded like a good story! right? Na but really my window is smashed though, lame! I checked out Swissco though and the snow is really high! might be good in a week or so. last yr at this time it was still 20 feet high!
